The library is supported by the Town of China and by donations from individuals. Our fundraisers include several book sales and sales of the China Afghan. Our annual operating budget is $8,500 with about half of the budget used to provide programs and purchase books and supplies, and half used to operate and maintain the library building. We accept donations of books, magazines, and movies. Items not added to the collection are sold at our book sales
We are grateful for our volunteers who are dedicated to making every library visit enjoyable. Volunteers staff the library, process new books, help at the book sale, and take care of our historic building. If you would like to volunteer one morning or afternoon each month to help out at the library please contact the library.
